Do like it but think we'd begrudge needing a mortgage to sample London's afternoon teas. It's have to be a pint and a bag of pork scratching a for us instead lol

I've had afternoon tea at The Ritz for my friends birthday - was really lovely . A group of us are going for afternoon tea at a local hotel next month. It's the little cute sandwiches I love.

And with the scones - jam first then clotted cream on top !

There was unlimited tiny sandwiches which were so lovely, then lots of cakes.when we were there you could ask for more, which we did. Lovely tea and of course we had to have a bottle of the fizzy stuff.

Anything over £10 for a pot of tea and I want cream fucking cakes (free refills) to go with it.

Im a tight twat but even if I had money to burn I would struggle spending £30+ on a pot of tea. I do admit I have no knowledge on what exactly you get for your money.

Im taking a big doggy bag with me and eating fresh cream cakes at home until they go off. I want every pennys worth

I just wouldnt fit in. I'd make an exception and drink tea instead of coffee and try my best to keep my little finger stood up like a honeymooners dick and try not to 'paaaaaaaaah' after each sip.

It does appeal to me though and might of just made it onto my ambition list. I didnt have one before this thread.

you get masses at the Ritz, as many sandwiches as you like, 2 large scones each, whole pot of jam and cream each and as many little cakes you can eat. Pots of tea, flavoured tea or coffee, it is or was £100 for two though

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I had afternoon tea in Leeds for my birthday last year and it was fab, especially as I'd just had a lovely massage at Lush. As I am in London for my birthday this year I might drop a few hints to my sisters
