forsooth, the enjoyment of a 4 4 beat rhythm has been known to pass froward from my audio electrical device from time to time. particularly old skool rock rather than the modern pop based variety |

There's a clue in my name......
Hell yeah, I'm a rocker!! From the old stuff to the new stuff I'm there all the way. Not into huge festivals but go to live pub gigs and smaller events whenever I have the time and money.

Amateur drummer and rock fan here! I tend to prefer underground bands that most folks have never heard of. But as far as mainstream stuff goes, I like old KISS, SABBATH, old VAN HALEN, RUSH, some of the 90s 'grunge' stuff, ZEPPELIN, and things along those lines. Also dig Punk and Hardcore, and some metal.

Love Rock/Metal, going to Rockville this Sunday actually. The line up is incredible. Rob Zombie, Black Label Society, Five Finger Death Punch, Korn, and so many others can't remember them all. Can't wait.  |

Got lots of Deep Purple, Led Zep, Metallica & Ac/Dc on vinyl. Did Monsters of Rock in my time.
Hoping to get to Sonisphere in July as Metallica & Iron Maiden are on. Seen Foo Fighters & there's a few newer bands would love to see. Gonna have to put some AC/DC on now ! |

I like the more heavy stuff, when people say rock i think of Brian Adams and Bon Jovi both of which id sooner poke my ear drums out than listen to
ive had to tone my dress sense down over the past few years as my kids kept telling me i was embarrassing, mum in new rocks when your a teenagers just ain't cool lol |

My kids think me being a rock chick is epic - especially after I took them to a day with a band making a music vid. Most of the gigs I go too are in pubs and the younger ones whinge cos I can't take them. I've just started taking my 16 yr old with me and she tells everyone she has the coolest mum ever!!

Never heard of Hard Rock Hell Ibiza before, shame it appears to be leaving Ibiza this year.
I spent a few seasons in ibiza working and most my time was in a rock club there, the dance capital of the world, has one of the best rock clubs. Those long metal girders are evil tho.

I have been listening to a lot of 70's & 80's rock recently however its very much mood dependant also i will.get hooked on a particular from a certain band and just keep playing it so for instance at present its the following tracks:
When the levee breaks - led zepp
white room - cream
time - pink floyd
whole lotta rosie live - ac/dc (bon scott)
Keep on moving - deep purple
I end up burning a disc for the car and create a playlist on my ipod which usually lasts for a month before its other tracks.
Does anyone else do this or am i a freak |
