Ok I'm safe to post this as Luke doesn't use the forums...
So it's his 40th in June and I want to do something special and not quite the norm!

For my 40th I'm hoping for a tank or at least an armoured car... Definitely not the norm but the ultimate boys toy?! Bet he wouldn't expect that! Or you could just get him some new socks  |

One big thing like an experience day and 39 little things to enjoy. Fortnums does these little bottles of reserved Malts, for instance. You might not be able to get him a big bottle from his year of birth but you might get a little one.
If you can't find enough things I am sure sure there are at least 10 forum women to help get you to 40 things.

My friends other half gave her twelve envelopes - it was an activity for every month for the next year. Things like - a trip to France, visit to a vineyard etc etc based on what she likes. She's had 4 months worth so far & loved it !  |

I'm 40 in July and heading of to New York courtesy of my mum for 12 days . I think 40 small gifts one to open each day leading up to his birthday is a brill idea |

Well my 40th last week and after nearly having a heart attack after paying a bill for food and drink
Was at a match and saw something that I thought was just deadly
Para gliding not sure if that's the correct name for it but the was a engine in it. Ahhh looking to do something mad |

Give him forty I.O.Us each individually wrapped in little boxes and then in one big box. Write 30 of them and tell him he can choose what the remaining ten are. Or give him one IOU promising him at least another forty years with you, what more could he ask for? |

on my 40th my wife bought me 40 separate presents wich kept me busy all day opening them lol |

I got some good ones like a saxophone and music books to go with it shirts trousers golf lessons and real wacky one's like tinned snails, penis stimulation cream lol  |
