Letting it all hang out

I was chatting to a lady yesterday.

A guy told her women were full of hormones and have no control. She claims that it is men that have no control. She says that all it takes is a bit more flesh than normal. Hair in Afghanistan a breeze blowing a sari off the shoulder. An ankle in Edwardian England, the ever shortening mini in 60s England.

She claims that if men saw the lot everyday they would not get worked up and be able to control their lust, but she is not going to be the first to do her shopping topless, let alone bottomless.

I have to admit that at school I got turned on by page 3, but know having seen everything of a lot of women, it takes more than a glimpse of stocking. Not that I consider there is any excuse for loss of sexual control and assault, but do you think she is right? Would women be safer if naked all the time?

I agree that we get desensitized to things we are exposed to regularly. I read an article years ago based on an interview with the singer Sisqo after the thong song was released. He made the comment that after that song became popular women at his concerts would regularly flash him their thongs. So much so that it just didn't have any effect on him anymore. It was no longer a turn on like it once was.

I don't know about necessarily safer though We are still sexual beings and u dont know if we could ever be completely desensitized to a naked person walking around.

No because most sexual assault is not about sex, it's about power.

On the subject of control, I'd say often women are less in control of their moods and emotions, partly because it's less socially unacceptable for women to show emotions and partly because of the hormones. (And because men can be so good at driving us round the twist )

Men are less in control of their physical urges and their tempers. And, if course, we know they can't keep their cocks under control. They have a mind of their own
