Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

When I really need to get something done I make sure it has an external deadline. I hate missing a deadline.

Think about how pleased with myself I will feel when I've done it

I feel exactly the same. Doesn't help that I am ill. I could do with some answers too.

I dunno. I have 4 teeny screws to screw in in order to finish a project that's sitting in front of me.

It'll take 2 minutes, tops.

I cannot raise the motivation.

Zero motivation I just do it without thinking. If I think, it won't get done.

Put the bloody screws in or I won't come and visit in May.

I was wrong, it was 8 screws. They're done.

That's 3 out of 4 storage-y things for my living room shelves made and all the parts cut for the final one, which I'll make tomorrow.

I need to buy more screws though. I need 32 and I have 9.

*mutter*

The original plan called for 4 x 24 so a box of 100 would have been sufficient.

I made a modification meaning I needed 4 x 32 so I don't have enough now.

Central

I decide either to do something, or not. If I'm doing it, then I apply myself, like super glue, and just get lost in doing it. If I've taken the decision not to do something, then it will be after considering the consequences and finding that acceptable. And probably will pencil it back in, with a date and time.

With any time saved, I make sure I either chill, or go and do something that's more motivating.

There's nothing worse than blaming yourself, so I make sure that my lack of progress is always a considered move, and there are no comebacks. I'm not enough of a lazy arse, but I do ensure that there's some down time.

When on the go, I am the Terminator, I make sure that stuff gets finished.
