Changing the bed...

Clothes. I'm just putting fresh bed linen on the bed and was tucking in a sheet that goes under the duvet. I started to think about all the different ways to make a bed.

I use a mattress cover, with a fitted sheet in top to lie on. Another ordinary sheet is then tucked in using envelope corners and folded back to the pillow line. Then I put a duvet on top of that with two pillows.

How do you make yours?

Btw don't you just love clean bed clothes

You have way too much time on your hands!

I call my mum, she comes over job done!

But agreed, fresh bed linen is the best

Simple sheet tucked in at corners folded under matress... duvet over bed with 3 pillows each side and a neck pillow for decoration.

Then a fleece blanket that I sleep under folded down half of the bed..

I dont like being hot so dont sleep under duvet!

Question is how often do you change your bedding...

I change mine twice a week!

Unless I had someone else in bed with me and it gets changed daily

Scrape the earth out to make a pit

Then pull the leaves over

Watching out for woodlice

in deep snow it is best to dig in and make a small tunnel to shelter from the icy wind

Hmm... maybe every couple of months?

I don't actually sleep in my bed though. Just kip on my couch with a blanket every night, and the blanket gets washed every few days.

There is something so wonderful about changing the sheets and the duvet and then having a shower and climbing into bed naked to those clean crisp sheets. .. such a simple pleasure mmmmm

Only when I first change it. Then I get lazy

I have a mattress protector sheet (not the waterproof kind I don't wet the bed) a fitted bottom sheet, a duvet cover and 4 pillow cases. In every set I mean.

I like mismatching the sheets. It's tough doing a king size single handedly so once a week the sheets are changed. No often, but then no one else ever shares my bed!
