One of the best cds i just got is the very "best of smokie" and i love it.
Brings back lots of lovely memories.
And i even remember fancying the lead singer   |

yep, les was fronting it with new band members, but they all still alive, apparently one owns a heating and plumbing business, one teaching at a uni, one still performing and one is now a paramedic ! |

i downloaded a load of smokie albums the other wk..... brilliant!!
bay city rollers... shang a lang!! oh the trauma!! lol my mum loved them seen them live at ayr... the pics are hilarious!! xx |

Apparently I did once too, when my gran died there was a BCR album that in her writing said belonged to me! Strange as I was a Bowie/Bolan fan! Still, cos Gran said it was mine I took it and still have it! Still trying to remember nostalgia!
Not really, was a huge punk and everthing from New York Dolls to Dury gets turned up to 11! |
