Just read a post in another thread that got me thinking. Now I don't make a point of looking for dog shite but it mentioned the white variety. Now that's something I haven't seen for years. Think it had something to do with the amount of chalky substance that used to go into dog food.
As time goes by certain things disappear off of the radar. The advent of the Internet has seen the demise of Gentleman's literature. I remember as a young lad finding porn mags in the woods. What makes you think "I haven't seen that for years" |

"70's tv shows that are deemed sexist repeated on GOLD."
Haha. A guilty pleasure of mine is bullseye on challenge. I don't think fashion started until the late 80's. Rubbish perms and stone washed denim. |

White chalky dog poo came from the bones people used to feed the dogs- calcium caused it but now people feed their dogs tin and dried food which hasn't got as much calcium in it- obviously as a bone is made up of calcium - why do I know this? It's worrying to be honest lol xx |

Still have milk delivered in bottles by the milkman. He doesn`t have an electric float though. |

Those things you used to put your hands in to keep warm ? On a string round your neck, hanging at waistish height. Like a tube of material you put your hands in. Were they called 'mufflers' ? |

* Old fashioned sweet shops
* Milk floats
* The variety of old cars on the road - they all look pretty much the same these days
* Flat caps
* Motorbikes with sidecars
* Roads without double-yellow lines, speed cameras or masses of road signs in towns
* Decent politicians who don't jack up on their expenses
* Small independant shops |
