Just read a tattoo thread and thought I'd ask around for recommendations for good tattooers in Birmingham and the mids.

I'd say have a look about not only in b'ham but around the country in where you'd be willing to travel, there's a lot of good artists out there with there own unique style, so depends on what look and style you'd like the tattoo to be. |

thats where i had my prince albert done.
tattoo palace in chapel ash, wolverhampton.
some of the best tattoos i have seen have come out of there.
there used to be another in the city centre, way back when.
i had a couple done by him, but he started heavily on and went down hill very quickly.
if your interested in coming this far out, credible tattoos in madely have 3 very good artists.
facebook ad wilson, hayley noir or matty cable.

Cheers folks. There's a vivid ink in Moseley now too. Still not 100% wowwed by some of their work.
And yeah I'd be willing to travel to get it done. Since it'll be on me forever it's gotta be good and its gotta be right.
I will look into the suggestions. It's so hard finding the right one! |

Went past there yesterday,its kind of inbetween Erdington and Sutton. |

Vivid in Sutton,, they have the best artist there, some people tattoo, these guys do art on your skin |

You need to find a tattooist that specialises in the style you want I would always go to an independent tattooist as well not a chain like those horrid body art places. |

Monki Do in Belper Derbyshire
Lifetime tattoo in Derby
Octopus in Derby
Second Skin in Derby
Andrew Bowler, mark Gibson, steve Jarvis, Theresa gordon-wade, Ben stone, Dave Bryant
All very different artistes but all of the highest standard |
