I saw the Chelsea Girl label in River Island and I had to take my sister to look. I still have an original Chelsea Girl top. It has moth holes and I don't wear it but I keep it anyway.

Think i still dress the same. Slim trousers, shoes and plain dark tshirts/tops. Although i used to wear shirts before. Don't wear shirts much now though..ended up with a strange body type so makes the shirts a bit awkward.

In my 'rebel' phase (think foolish boy phase)
I wore, in no particular order,
RAF greatcoat,
leather jacket,
donkey jacket,
a furnacemans green donkey jacket from the steelworks (with pockets on the inside),
and for best, a full length fur coat.
I must have looked like a total dick, thank God there are no pictures of me....I hope |

"I went though an indie phase and had Adidas Giselle's lol
Me to, and floppy hair. Not a good look for me, the hair.
long skirts from select I was skinny then so got away with mini skirts lol"
Was Select or still is a ladies clothes shop? I was partial to Fosters back in the day. The navy jumper for school had to be a Fruit Of The Loom sweatshirt. My mum thought it was fruit of the loin, true story.

From the ages of fourteen to seventeen I was a skinhead so Levi red tab jeans, Brutus or Ben Sherman shirts or Fred Perrry T shirts. Sta press trousers and braces and if dressing smart a tonic suit and of course the obligatory DM's. Then I was a casual so Pringles , la coste, farah, lyle & Scott and Sergio tachini were the order of the day. I looked a right tart when dressed up.

Awful things. Like lace up cornish pasties.
Ironically, just the type of shoes that I am starting to look at again and think 'ooh those look comfy' |

Gypsy skirts, cheesecloth blouses, skin tight coloured canvas jeans with pixie boots - they were my favourite. Pencil skirts and Lady Di frilly collared blouses, edge to edge jackets, drop waist dresses - had a few of these bought for weddings and parties. AND I had white stilettos |
