Cheers Peaches. If there's one thing I can do, it's think positive. I've spent all day so far pinging off umpteen copies of my CV, I have no intention of getting to the stage of an interview with some spotty teenage gimp in the benefits office!

After 16 months of being unemployed i started a new job on monday. Had the interview last thurs and was offered the job friday. So good luck and i hope you are as lucky as me xx |

That's great news, I hope it works out for you. It's been bloody tough in my industry (as it has elsewhere) for two years, with no sign of any imporovement. I've had to look outside my usual work, but this job potentially pays more, has better shifts, better package, and hands on is not a great deal different.
Best wishes to all who are struggling through these tough times..

Congrats to dibdobs for getting to the interview stage - in the current climate that's an achievement in itself. All the best for progressing even further - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Ps No word of a lie which u mite think i do ! but i am not---there was a job in the job centre on monday to be a web cam host 4 a porno company!! yes un-real! u ad to be at home get semi naked or be naked n chat to males couples females----n get paid 4 it!! Wow!!! im up 4 that!!
