Pack rat or minimalist?

Somewhere in North Norfolk

Do you own tonnes of stuff or are you minimalist in terms of possessions?

I remember when everything I owned fitted in one car load.

Now it takes a large removal lorry, even though I am single.

Sometimes I feel weighed down by it all. I'm gradually working on cutting it down and rationalising it all.

Does your stuff weigh you down or hold you back?

I've just filled a skip & felt great to get rid of loads of stuff! So I'm more minimalist now

I watched storage hoarders yesterday - blimey they have masses of stuff !

Its not pack rat mentality.

I just have spares for everything important (and a reinforced loft-space)

I had to move from a lovely big property to a smaller one when I divorced and found I had far too much stuff. I've kept it for years but I'm now in the process of getting rid of anything I've not used or looked at for ages. The sentimental value of those items have gone now so it's easier.

Currently in the process of condensing two homes into one so theres two of everything.

The car boot sale will be epic and what we don't sell there will go to charity.

Pretty basic in terms of clothes, cds, dvds, books etc

usual bits of furniture

the only thing i have is a small moorcroft collection

when we move in together full time though, i need to make space for an extensive rocks and minerals collection and 2 bearded dragons
