hi ladies....have any of you had an endometrial abrasion? if so how did it go? im about to go in for this along with being sterilized. ...nervous much lol |

I had end ometrial ablation after being sterilised and I was a little sore afterwards and again when I had to have a hysterectomy. You'll feel uncomfortable for a few days, make sure you get plenty of rest and don't be afraid to take painkillers if needed.

Ive had it done. Was in pain for several days afterwards but it sorted out my heavy periods. Didnt see anything afterwards. Take painkillers.

I had this procedure done some 20 years ago. (Had been sterilised a couple of years before)
Painful for a few days - sore.
But cleared up all problems for me. Periods lasted around 4 days and not heavy or painful.
Best of luck.
1 tip - take Arnica tablets a week or so before your op. it will help with the internal bruising and inflammation. |

thank you ladies I go in next sunday have stocked up on pain killers and booked a week off work.....hopefully all will be ok!! got my sexy socks to put on....lovely lol thanks again for the well wishes xx |

I had it done last year it's stopped my heavy periods only get discharge now,I was only sore for a couple of days, you might get a watery discharge for a couple of weeks but my best advice keep a note book as it's been a year and it doesn't look like its worked for me so back to the gynae soon but good luck xx |
