Confessions of vices or strange interests aren't exactly thin on the ground around here, but I can't recall ever seeing any gamers. Have I missed you all?

Not a gamer myself but
Been messing around with computers since the ZX Spectrum (rubber key) days and I just cant get into games at all??

Also a massive gamer.
Have owned most consoles and I'm currently deciding which of the next gen consoles to buy.
Play a couple of mmorpgs on the PC also.
Have recently started developing games for ios and with any luck will be publishing my first game in the app store by the end of the month

I was an arcade gamer back when i was younger... my first specialities were outrun and afterburner... lol
the only real thing i am addicted to now is football manager and I have managed to ween myself off that to a manageable level....
still an online poker gamer though... |

Uncharted games and the last of us are my type of games.
I tried a few mmos like warcraft, rift but they just take up way too much time and having you chasing a carrot.
so those type of games not for me.
Only really bother in winter months though, to busy doing outdoor stuff in the spring/summer. |

They make it look nicer. It doesn't improve the gameplay.
So many times I've read dudes on fb arguing that some game that's out on the pc is better than the console version. |

Hubby is playing on line as i txt. Its worn off on the kids too tho, the 3 of them drive me bonkers with their gaming.
the other day I had to take over hubby's soldier so he could collect our son. PMSL, I dont know how his character was still alive by time he got back.  |

the kahjit have a few perks to.help thief like night vision and silent walking quite fun pickpocketing everybody |

Currently waiting for Star Citizen to be released, gonna be ages yet though

Mercenary Kings has just been released for the PS4, amazing graphics and just the sort of old-skool shooter gameplay I love - I don't own a PS4 though, and am thusly annoyed. |

Total gamer here!... I have a 360 play cod, modern warfare, resident evil games, racing games and I'm slightly guilty of playing l4d and borderlines... I do love watching people play single player on batman, hot man and others of the sort... I'm also very competitive when it comes to board games hehe! |

Silent Hill is great (my partners favourite game is SH2).
More up your street is The Evil Within, out in late August. From the creator of Resident Evil, its more suspense and survival horror than thelater games which he said had moved away from the original vision of RE. Looks very good. Rumours of a Silent Hill:Otherworld but no other details yet. U tried Project Zero on PS2? Awesome survival horror. Theyre up to part 3 on PS2 (and part 4 on Japanese Wii) |

Survival horrors aren't as good as they used to be. I've heard about TEW. Sounds good but I know never to get my hopes up since these games rarely bring anything new to the genre. |

I like RPG, FPS, strategy games and a few sim games.

I mean I'd rather it have nothing but the capability to play games. I know it's an outdated premise but I'm an old school gamer. I know people use lovefilm etc, but what if you're not online (after the initial mandatory setup) and you don't want clutter?
You ought to be able to select what you want on your dashboard.
I'm not impressed by any of the "next-gen" consoles.
