According to several music websites AC/DC are splitting up after 40yrs. They had originally planned a new album and 40 date tour but according to rumours Malcolm Young has quit the band to spend time with his family. Some rumours say he's recently suffered a stroke or has the early stages of Alzheimer's.
If true I wish Mal all the best and thank them for their music, they'll be sorely missed. |

The report a read was that Malcome had suffered a stroke and it had left a blood clot which meant it was affecting his playing. So on that news him being the founder member they have decided to hang up their caps and call it a day.

Well, there's hope on the horizon. It's being reported by Ultimate Classic Rock (can't post the link but I'm sure you can all work it out) that Brian Johnson has denied the rumours and AC/DC will enter the studio in May. |

My boyfriend when I was a teen, (now my husband), was into the heavy metal. Still is slightly. Im sure we went to see AC/DC, I had a massive crush on Angus Young, think his name is right. Schoolboy look. I probably would still love seeing him today.   |
