UK lady on holiday in South Africa downloaded a Neil Diamond album. Over her phone. Total download cost £2609.31 once roaming charges were added. Classic!
Her network, Orange, have reduced the bill to £400 but the woman has commented “I feel it is morally wrong to be expected to pay this sort of money for a Neil Diamond album"
I think it's morally wrong to be expected to pay ANY money for a Neil Diamond album!
What have my fellow Fabbers been well and truly stung for over the years? |

Neil diamond is a fantastic artist.saying that,no album is worth that sort of money.and folk should be more wary of roaming charges.orange send you a text to remind you of roaming charges once you leave the uk,so more fool her for ignoring the warning |

Not me personally but there was a guy featured on talksport radio that had streamed a football match when he was on holiday ( he d started watching it in the hotel Bar then he moved out of the hotels WiFi area) and they worked it out he could have flown back to the UK seen the match flown back and still have been hundreds of pounds better off, |

Nothing against Neil diamond but there are idiots that don't check their roaming charges. Just spoke to an American trying to reverse the charges from a phone box. Tried to use the London 020 code instead of the US 001
They walk the among us |

My mate was recently stung by travellers.
They turned up at his work offering boxed large flat screen televisions for £80. Had a load in the back of the van.
All looked as kosher as it is possible to be in the circumstances so he took a punt, thinking they had fallen off the back of a lorry
Took the telly home and plugged it in only to find it had a lovely screen but no inside components
Classic |
