What are people's thoughts on enforcing manditory photo verification? Maybe not straight away, but certainly within a week or so of joining the site?
Seems to me that it would clear out a lot of fakes. |

It would but many people would just not use the site so wouldn't be so popular |

i'll be in favour of it... but only if it can tell me the following:
does PV tell me that someones height is correct?
does PV tell me that someones sexuality is correct?
does PV tell me if someones age is correct?
does PV tell me if someone is generally an arse?
does PV tell me if someone will turn up for a meet?
you tell me it does all that... i'll gladly get it done... but 7ish years in the scene and never done the PV thing yet... not about to start now!! |

"Nope.
Pointless.
Plenty of fake profiles have been busted with green flags over the years.

How do people get around the system?"
Simple.
Upload a pic of themselves (which stays private and never gets seen) and then 'borrow' better pics from the net.
Or 'adjust' a pic cleverly using editing software that gets past a pic mod.
Either way - the only veri's that mean anything to me are meet in person.
I couldn't give a monkeys about webcam veri's either.

Veris are a waste of time to me as I have seen how some people can lie and end up being very popular as well as hypocritical. As for photo veri they can so easily be faked so nope not in favour of them either. |

If it bothers you that much block them from contacting you and don't message them.
I can see the op's point (to a degree) but think many people think that such a rule would make up for their own shortcomings when messaging people. |
