Given an apparent absence of kissing and shagging up here in t' north, I can't really comment on the other two threads... so I'll parody them instead.

Egg mayonaise with finely chopped bacon and avocado for me!

The pretty waitress in the cafe who smiles when she catches you peeking down her unbuttoned top. She bites her lip as she hands the sandwich to you and lingers, bent over, enjoying how you look at her

...Up on the Downs

Moist - whatever is in it, a good sandwich must be moist, even juicy (as long as you're not eating while on the move, juicy is too much then, you're better off with just moist).

Two good bad hands of bread (doorsteps probably to those non Bristolians)

Some nice freshly cooked honey roasted ham spread with a thin layer of English mustard

Crisp fresh salad leaves, tomato and cucumber.

If not a bag of ready salted crisps and a couple of slices of toastie bread will do.

I've got roast chicken and stuffing and finely sliced red pepper with garlic mayo in a tiger baguette.

All to be consumed on a rug in the peak district enjoying the sunshine.

Thank you for the lovely and tempting offer, but alas I am at home stuck doing chores. At least I get to go out in the sunshine to hang me washing out.

Rare roast beef thinly sliced but lots of it on a granary baguette spread with either homemade mayo or hollandaise and rocket or watercress.
