If you watched, say BBC i player for one hour what would that equate to in terms of download usage ?. My current package is 10Gb a month

From the BBC website:

TV

Watching 30 minutes of video may consume between 25MB and 175MB of data depending on your available connection speed.

Watching 60 minutes of video may consume between 50MB and 350MB of data depending on your available connection speed.

Radio

Listening to 30 minutes of radio may consume up to 30MB of data.

Listening to 60 minutes of Radio may consume up to 60MB of data.

my speed is never above 3mbps. GooD or bad ?

That's pretty slow. Mines over 100mb..

As well as "normal" internet usage I'v been hammering netflix (complete season 1 of Arrow & first 2 seasons of Warehouse 13) plus a couple of movies from Now TV and since the 1st April I've used 82Gb according to my BT broadband usage meter.

Average usage is 34gb per month.

Fortunately I'm on an unlimited package
