have you seen this film?
Its posssibly wrong but I haven't laughed so much in ages... there are some really funny bits in it... the suicide bomber crow... the police marks men taking out the Bear in the marathon... its British satire at its best... |

"Personally I am a bit dissapointed that the film was made, I like a laugh as much as anyone but I think this was one subject best left alone by the comedy writers."
Honestly go and watch it... it mocks the whole subject from all angles from the terrorist... to the Afghan training camps... to even our police?! And despite the nature of the subject its deals with it all in good nature and respects the wrongs of it all... I'd say pass judgement once you've seen it?
And its far better to talk about about it all... isn't it? rather than hide from the subject? |

Saw it myself last night and have to say I was very disappointed. While there were some very funny lines in it ( fast pass on the rubber dinghy rapids brother) on the whole I didn't think it was that funny. Maybe it'll be funnier if I watch it again |

It is a very film, mocking everything that is taboo about this subject.
But in all honesty nothing is really taboo, I've seen stand up comics on tv mock 9/11, Princess Di and disability. Those jokes are on poor taste, but still make it onto tv.
People like frankie boyle make a living out of sick jokes, his 'not sick' jokes do make me laugh, buy his sick ones just shock.
Have I gone off the point if the thread ?
Help ! |

Looks like I'm in the minority here but it did nothing for me at all. Got through the first hour, didn't titter once (let alone laugh) so switched channels.
Quite strange really as I am one of them that can find humour in most things.
Hey ho, maybe I was all laughed out from seeing The Inbetweeners movie in the afternoon. |

Ashamed to admit, but I couldn't resist shaking my head like that and taking pic on my phone as soon as I saw that.
I gave myself a headache, but the pics came out great. Lol. |

hilarious film. we have been joking about our 'troubles' since the second world war and beyond. i think it is part of how we as a nation deal with the attrocities committed against us.
that is purely observational and not denigrating anyone who has suffered directly or indirectly from any terrorist activity. |
