im a mixture ...if its about me ...shrug it off and walk away ....now if its about any of my kids i cant walk away and fight their corner to end .....even to the point i end up in tears

Depends who and what. I care little or nothing for any opinion expressed by anyone I have little regard for. Most of my friends are not prone to making spurious assertions just to be hurtful, so if one of them says something, I'll take more notice
