I got a detention once because of sue, our library teacher at high school didn't approve of anyone laughing. No matter how amusing the book. She was an old witch and sadly put a lot of people off reading.

Agree with you all, a fabulous author, and Adrian Mole was funny. She was very young, and a sad, great loss.
