Ok, so I aint as superhuman as I once thought, and now I got one.

Doctor was honest, but not much use, so I thought I'd ask in here, as it's supposed to be quite common, especially amongst men lol.

Anyone had one?

How long did it take for your local NHS to get you in and stitch you up after diagnosis? I know different areas have different waiting lists, I'm just wondering roughly how quick it is.

After the Op, how long before you were back to work?

I have one and had it around 5 years.

They sent me for the op to have it repaired, but decided it was not worth it due to my heart problems.

Would have been done within 14 days of seeing my GP though.

Its a hernia

the dr is trying to impress you with his knowledge of anatomy.

I have no experience to share.

But tell him it hurts n is affecting you badly x

has he refered you x

in the scheme of things is not a big deal but it depends on the size of it.

N if it strangulates.... Medical emergency.
