How does this work!!! I know this is a shagging site but people think the more verifications you have the safer you are! Surely the less people you sleep with the safer you are!!! Or am I wrong??  |

Verifications are not an accurate account of who or how many people have slept with. You can't judge how 'safe' someone is from them! |

Actually, the safer your sexual practices are, the safer you are.
The number of sexual partners you have is just one small piece of that particular overall statistic.

The object of verifications is to show you are genuine and not one of the many timewasters who arrange to meet and then don't turn up or give you a fictitous address. |

its because you may be more reliable and interested in meeting people, or they may think their could be something wrong with you if you havnt met many people. i would only worry about meeting people with lots of verifications if they didnt use condoms. |

anyone looking at our verifications would get the impression that we have only met socially recently. There is no way of telling if that is fact or not we could have been having sex with half the site while the other half looked on...or not.

I couldn't agree more its far better to make your own judgement on meeting someone rather than going on a couple of paragraphs penned by another user. I do realise though they are very important for some though so wouldn't begrudge them having more though. |

Number of partners does increase risks, but as soon as you have sex you are at risk. Safer sex and regular testing mean more to me than number of partners met. |

I don't read them ,have sent 2 since having this account both joke ones,have never asked for them in fact I ask not to send me one. They don't bother me I just don't understand how people take the word of a stranger into account when thinking about meeting another stranger. As I said , to me a complete waste of server space. |

to most it is about being reliable(to meet) and an accurate representation of the profile(age namely), weight may be a different issue..as i believe there is no way of filtering it.......yet.......
ppl will eventually ask fab to have them matched up to their 'perfect' meets...might even be a 'professional' filter soon...
