When someone says help yourself to tea and coffee, to then not provide milk,?

So I can have

1) black coffee 2 sugars

Or

2) I buy milk,

It's correct to say that but a bit thoughtless since most people take milk and they'd thought about the sugar. A bit odd really

I ve bought milk (59p a pint its a pound for 4 in morrisons) , do you think I should add it onto the bill,?

I rarely have milk in the house. I drink neither tea nor coffee and I don't eat cereal.

If I know someone's coming round I'll get a bottle in, but if it's an unexpected visitor they might get sent to the corner shop.

My local shopkeepers are used to them in their gimp suits and ball gags. They know to give them a pint of milk, the right change and send them back to me.
