Am I the only one who gets really mad at Americanisms creeping into our language?
Pussy, ass and puppies, they seem to have a fixation with animals!!
What is wrong with the good old Anglo-Saxon cunt, arse and tits? Am I being over critical or does anyone else agree? |

"think cunt is a bit vulgar,, sometimes pussy is more appropriate.
think its all about context.. "
Maybe if you don't like cunt you could say something more British than pussy.
How about 'tuppence'?

Micky Flanagan had a problem with girls when he worked in America. After a date he'd ask if he could come in their house with them. Being a professional cockney he pronounces it as aaahse, which gave an entirely different meaning to the discerning American lady. It didn't seem to matter if he promised he wouldn't be there long or make a mess... |

None of those words were Anglo Saxon |

It's all English as far as I'm concerned. You know what someone is on about so there are more things to worry about. It's not as if when an American woman says to you "would you like to see my pussy and puppies" or " would you like to pound my ass" you will retort with " I'll do no such thing untill you use a pronunciation that I find agreeable " |

I've used tuppence instead of cunt in the past but overall, when being polite, I use quim.
