Because I knew I'd be recovering from major surgery, and I live on my own, I bought myself a loaf of low-carb bread. I don't normally eat carbs in this way but I do love bread so this is a special treat.

Today, I have decided I will have two slices, but what to do with it?

Cheese on toast? Dippy eggs? Sandwich? Or simply good old bread and butter?

What would you suggest folks...

Bread - butter, butter - bread (do this bit and the next in Tommy Cooper's voice).

Huh uh Huh, thin cheese slice, very soft boiled egg. Put them on top of each other.

Make arcane hand movements, say abracadabra and then you have perfection for dinner. Say 'just like that' and take a bow and as doing so allow fez to fall into the soft boiled egg.....

This dinner was brought to you by Tina 'Cooper' Titz

Don't worry, my appetite is slowly returning after the GA. It's not like I'm going to waste away.

Nothing beats cheese on toast

Except a bacon sarnie

Compromise

Melted cheese on the bacon sarnie

All good suggestions, particularly those involving Marmite. I can also throw in posh eggy bread which involves soaking a crumpet in the egg then frying it. Proper lush!
