I didn't know who he was so had to Google, apparently he has been fired from his record label for penning a song that glamorizes Terrorism.

Watched him through the xfactor. Then went to see him live in Glasgow.

Concert was good. Not great.

The acts that do best from the xfactor are very rarely the winners. Think Ollie Murs, One Direction, Little Mix, Cherie Lloyd, JLS, Rebecca Ferguson....only one winner I can think if doing well is......Leona Lewis.

Anyone remember Matt Mcardle, Joe Mcellerdy, Leon Jackson, Alexandra Burke...

Matt McArdle won

Didn't Alexander Burke win ?

In any case Joe McCelldry has done other things and Alexander Burke is doing really well and in U.S.A too.

Matt Cardle has a good song out at the minute that is played a lot on radio 2.And Alexandra Burke has had a few good hits out and worked with some other good artists.

Hasn;t he already established his twattishness with homophobic tweeting?

Social media is probably best avoided if you are stupid, bigotted and famous.

They did, that's the poster's point... Where are they now? Though as you say, Alexandra Burke is still doing ok.

I thought alexandra burke was dropped from her record label, which is a shame as she had a good voice

James Arthur seems like a bit of a knob from what I can gather

"Come to think of it ....... Joe WON and so did Matt..... I think"

That's my point. I think overall it's the acts that did not win that do best.

But I'm sure if you asked all of the live acts would they do it again most would say yes.

I don't know for sure but I think most have gone on to have a career in the entertainment industry they could only have dreamed of before the xfactor.

It's not all about fame and fortune and adulation .....sometimes it's just about earning enough money to buy a nice house and not to have to worry about bills and stuff....
