Still believe?. Not talking about God (that's a whole page of threads)but ghosts, UFOs, things along those lines
I believe in ghosts because I've had experience of them but really don't believe in other life forms from other planets.
What about you ? |

No, I've looked at the evidence for and against a lot of the unexplained and I've come away unconvinced. It doesn't make them less interesting and I still enjoy a good shiver, but I'm more a fan of James Randi than Charles Fort.  |

The distance betweens galaxies is so vast that I don't dismiss the idea of life elsewhere.
Of course I believe in UFOs but not necessarily that they are extraterrestrial - I can't identify a lot of things.

I'm very open minded but have no 'faith' so like Tina it has to be backed up by science -
Having said that I think there's simply lots of natural phenomena that we simply don't understand - yet. |

It's not that long since they thought the world was flat. It amuses me when when science is used to 'prove' things. Tomorrow it may all be 'proved' to be a crock of shit.

It was a myth begun by the Victorians, I think. In the Middle Ages, scholars had even worked out an approximate circumference. |

Infinity is a long time and a big space.... I cannot dismiss the possibility of life existing somewhere else in either the past, present or future. In fact I see it as a real probability.
When I consider time, distance and physics, I do not believe spaceships are just popping over to earth... especially just to finger the arse of some farmhand redneck.
I do dismiss the notion of ghosts and I struggle to connect with anyone who chooses to believe and advocate their existence. To me it's like talking to an adult who truly believes in Santa and claims to have seen him. |
