According to an article in the Express 26 MPs who payed back funds they fraudulently claimed have had the money returned in a secret deal with the govt .

so not only can they fraudulently claim on a mortgage and not get locked up but now they are even given the money they repaid to us the tax payer back on the quiet . but no doubt many on here will be happy to continue to demonize benefit claimants ! divide and conquer and we have been conquered

Would not be in the least surprised if they claim interest on the money as well.

Once a thief always a thief, not an honest MP in the house these days.

i suggest you stop voting. Its only those that vote that put them in this position. Although this is the least of their crimes. compare that to the millions made and favours owed from just say the mail sell off.

Central

That conservative miller gained something like £2 million on just one of the houses that we the tax payer paid the mortgage for! They all had a big pay rise when the new expenses scheme came in, and they still abuse it. Farage claimed £millions for his euro expenses alone, so anyone saying he is different to the others needs to open their eyes. They should have been housed in the olympic village that we all built, and then shipped in on buses to parliament.

Will Will, - I'm afraid it's you that doesn't get it, dude; NOT voting is the only way because EVERY party is the same!!

Crazily as it may seem, the only truly Democratic thing left to do is to NOT vote!!!

Otherwise nothing will ever change!!

He's 100% correct, dude!!

To be replaced by whom? More corrupt arses probably. The whole system needs major reform, and that will never happen

by voting for the same old same old.

We need a revolution

nope m8 you dont get it ! it is only your vote that gives them any authority. not voting has feck all to do with being lazy. if you vote you support a corrupt and criminal regime. If they put an option on the ballot sheet to get rid of them i will vote. stop moaning if you vote its your vote that keeps them there.

Cannock

If someone working in the private sector did these things then they would either be sacked with no questions asked, or have charges pressed against them in a court of law? It does beggar belief that these politicians and MP's get away with this behaviour time and time again, one rule for them and another rule for the rest of us.

The same in the public or charitable sector. MPs sit in a no-man's land where they seem to do what they like.
