Just had a message off a couple and whilst looking through their profile and pics we clicked on one only to see in the background a cat litter tray with numerous deposits in.A tad distracting when you have a woman in lingerie posing with a cat litter tray full behind her.Anyone else been confronted by gems like this? |

On a BDSM site I saw a photo of a lady topless and in the background where 2 photos of what I thought were her Children, I messaged her, telling her that and they were photos of her grandchildren, she had not noticed the photos!, she did remove the photo |

There was a pic I saw yesterday from someone that accommodates,the place was like an episode of extreme hoarders!

I like looking at people's dvd and book collections. You can tell a lot about people from them. One couple had The Archers in audiobook form. I don't mind deviancy, but there is a limit!  |

Have to say it's not true for us. If I like the look of someone then I check the background. It gives us a bit more information about them sometimes.

Couldn't agree more as it says a bit about the person if they have a pile of sh*t (not just one but a lot)in a tray behind them on the kitchen floor whilst getting "sexy" pics taken ! |

On a more serious note, I (Rick) have actually contacted people because they have children's and/or family members pictures, clearly on display. Some have thanked me for bringing their attention to this, and others have been less than polite. |

I once had a very nice meet with a chap in Derbyshire. He took some great photos of me lounging on his sofa and so on. When I got home, I noticed that all of his family photos were on the wall behind the sofa. I had to delete all the ruddy pics  |

Indeed. Having been a keen amateur photographer, for many years, and having had my own photographs pulled to pieces and judged, it does make you more aware of such things. Don't get me wrong, I am no David Bailey. |

This reminds me of an advert the parents are away on holiday, leaving a uni student son at home. When he is talking to his parents tbe bit in the background it meticulously tidy, when the camera pans out the rest of the place is a mess.
I was always told have a plain background when taking pictures as the more cluttered the background the mire the veiwer will be looking elsewhere than on the of main object in the photo. |

I fully agree and over and above that I also check the verifications, I check the person who actually verified the person and then people who verified the verifier (if you know what I mean)
and if one person in that whole list of verifiers seems dodgy or "suspect" I walk away
anyone can say oh im clean and top hygiene but what about people they have previously been with!
perhaps im OCD but prefer that to one nighters with someone I have no history off.

Beware. There are sites that pull photos from adult contact site profiles and then display and critique them. It can be hilarious, but would not be if I or a friend featured. And no, it is not a Sydney uni ploy. I do look at the whole picture, as it is a clear indication that reveals more of the person. |

We once seen a very young photo picture of a Famous Footballer.. in the Background..
The couple were mortified and thanked us for pointing it out as they were related to the footballer..
