just read an article that says a person produces an average of 450 grams of fecal matter per day. Ignoring the size difference for the first 14 years of your life, that would be 13,149 kg of poop in 80 years of life  |

well if you want the "lump" sum principle, this is copy and paste from the said article.
For a pile of poop, I'm assuming it has a consistancy similar to that of wet ash, which has an angle of repose of ~36 degrees. Since in my experience poop usually sinks, but sometimes floats, I'll assume it's 5% more dense that water. After some trigonometry, this results in a conical pile 16 feet across and 6.5 feet high, with a total volume of 442 cubic feet.
With a world population of 7 billion, the total weight in one day would be 3.15 billion kg. It would make a pile 141.5m across and 57.5m tall, about the size of the Pyramid of Menkaure, a picture for reference. It would also smell horrible.

So we decided to all crap in one bog, not to flush it and see what happened. Well, by day three, our creation had been named "Mount Mijas" and we were all justifiably proud of our efforts. And yes, it did smell terrible |
