Depends on your personality I think.
I went to one a while ago. I went to people watch and it was hugely amusing. Those who were idiots way back when still are and those who were ok still are.
The most amusing part was seeing the popular boy from school days using the same old tricks many years later to woo the ladies.... pathetic and really really funny |

depends on you. I met up with my old school friends after nearly 20 years and it wasn't long before it was just like we were when we were at school. But then I liked the girls I went to school with. I wouldn't have bothered if I didn't have fond memories of school. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I bump into some people from time to time. I was close friends with two from school until just a couple of years ago. I saw one of them on Friday. A reunion would only interest me if I knew all of the teachers would attend too.

The answer to this usually depends on how as an individual the person asking it has done. If you have been successful achieved much, married well, got a happy life to show off they can be good. If its the opposite and life has been bad then most likley not. Also If you had issues with people at school picking on you I would say no. I would say though most people would like to see what happened to their classmates. |

Most of the friends I have now I was at school with with. The friend I go out with the most was in the same class as me. We did have a massive school reunion about fifteen years ago and it was fairly successful but I think the organisers had a bit of a tiff so no more are planned. A couple if times a year we have a mini reunion and about ten / fifteen of us turn up. We were all good friends at school so it's nice to see them again. |

That's not a reunion, that's just seeing your mates.

Fair point, but we don't bring our other halves so we call it a reunion otherwise they may want to come. |

This year is 25 years since I took my GCSEs. My year group was only the second to take GCSEs.
I now feel old! |

O levels in my day too. We had a reunion about 10 years after we all left. It was nice to see everyone but a bit too soon possibly. They tried to hold another one when we were all about 40 but hardly anyone showed an interest. One reunion is enough. |

School was an utter hell for me. It was five years of state sponsored waterboarding and rendition.
Go to a reunion? Absolutely. I'm older, wiser, stronger and know all the places to hit someone to cause maximum damage!

I went to an all boys Jesuit school and quickly forgot about virtually everyone there as soon as I got to 6th form. Have no interest in seeing anyone from that period, if I had wanted to stay in contact I would. |

I met by chance a gf from thirty+years ago, I had been 14(and chancing it) she was 16 at the time we never did the biz at the time, but had great fun when we met again.By this time she was a very hot, horny grandmother, still with a slim teen figure.
Another reunion just made me sick.I don't mean it.
As Del boy once said, 'Parable of the lucky git'
A guy I gave a job to fresh from school had landed on his feet traveling all round the world, ridiculous salary expences,(our meal for two was £250) and a massive villa and boat in Spain etc.
The lad done good, but it left me feeling a bit left behind.
Nevertheless it was great to meet up again with both. |
