I have Kaspersky Security 2013 installed on my laptop and license is due for renewal shortly.

Before entering the newly bought activation code do i have to uninstall 2013 and then download 2014 first ?

A seaside town near you!

I would have thought the new version overwrites the old version. That's what normally happens. You should get a message asking you if you want to update.

"google it"

In my experience 'fabbing' is better than 'googling' lol.......eventually anyhow !

I have used Kaspersky internet security a lot in the past. When i buy a new one, i always uninstall the old one first before installing the new one. Never had any problems doing it this way.

The new one usually overwrites the old one but I would do the uninstall anyway. Then reboot the laptop before installing the new software.

We use AVG Free on our laptops, which we are very happy with.
