"watched the human centipede recently that was messed up, being the middle one, eww x"
Wouldn't class that as a horror but I agree, totally messed up! Some people have some weird imaginations to come up with a story like that |

Have you seen the second one? yep the second one is sicker and more disturbing than the first "
I totally agree... hence the probable reason it was shot in black and white. The main character is so creepy... |

There's the final sequence being made. Its set in a maximum security prison and its set to be an XXL centipede this time....500 people! |

"What's the scariest film you have watched "
Don't know if it classes as scary, maybe more sick/weird, but a guy I was working with few weeks ago gave me a dvd, The Serbian Film, watched it on fast forward it shocked me that much, not for the faint hearted |

"I don't recall a scary film, and I've seen a lot.
However, for disturbing try A Serbian Film. That is fucked up. Makes Human Centipede look like a fairy story."
This.
One hell of a twisted film. Everything else I've seen after pales in comparison. |

"I love horror films and gore but the only one that's freaked me out was the woman in black. Kept having to say to myself, Harry Potter lol"
Have you seen it at the theatre?
It's brilliant there. Beware if you sit in an aisle seat though, there really is a woman in black!!
The book is an excellent read too. |

"Ju-On/The Grudge A Japanese original remade by the Americans, though not bad the Japanese version really played with my mind for a couple of days."
The original Japanese version played with me for weeks!! One scary film. |

I remember watching the Japanese version of The Ring, when a few days later, the TV remote must have fallen on the floor and the TV turned on by itself, I shit a brick, even though the actual film didn't scare me. |

Candyman always freaked me out.
The Conjuring was the last decent horror i saw.
Nowadays films rely on jump scares too much. You can always tell when they're coming as the music ramps up. Or it goes totally silent. |

For me it has to be 'The Strangers' I don't know what it is about this movie but it's one of the only ones if not the only that makes me scream... Plus it's "based on true events" my favourite kinds of horrors |

Agree with you there!... I want to jump when I watch a horror... These days I have to put my tv on full blast to get a slight reaction... |

Thing I have with 'based on true events' is just what actually happened and what have they embellished? |

I know what you mean but it just appeals to me more as there's an element of truth in there, rather than a completely made up plot. |

Very true. The ghost ones I find hard to believe but films like Wolf Creek, that happened. |

Totes agree babe... I do believe in spirits to a certain extent but when there's no physical proof and then they make a film out of it... Yawn lol |

I recently watched a classic film from my childhood that I hadn't seen in years "The Dark Crystal" OH MY ACTUAL FUCKING GOD this is one of the darkest twisted scariest films I have ever seen in my entire life. No wonder my generation is so fucked up |

One years ago, that was more disturbing than horror was a film called " The Devils " stared Vannessa Redgrave and Oliver Reed ... Oh my Days! What a strange , crazy film! Anyone ever seen it? |

I am open-minded about ghosts but I'd have to see it for myself.
Same with aliens etc. I've seen "UFOs" but it may not've been alien.
One thing I am sick of is "found footage" films. They're so boring and done to death. |

And yes Mama is probably one of the more scarier ones that's new out but I want them to make me unable to sleep lol "
I found mama boring and the ending totally ruined it. |

Really? All we know is the 2 girl vanished and the guy was a suspect! And they never proved he did anything....
As the bodies were never found, we have no idea what happened to them.....
A made up story very loosely based on true events |
