Yes proberly on my birthday, that way they can get all their mourning out the way in one day.
Not at Christmas or any family birthdays, ruin things for others.

Initially I thought no.......but
Actually I think I would like to know.
Then a couple of months before the date I can apply for shit loads of credit cards and max the lot out, going on holidays and spoiling the kids, buying them all the stuff I have never been able to afford lmao  |

depends.
if once you know your date NOTHING will ever change it, then yes, would be great craic living like a loon for the rest of my days, having no fear of dying by jumping out of, or off, things one shouldnt do.
however, if it makes no difference, then i really dont see the point in finding out |

I'd quite like a rough idea...for example am I gonna live well into pension age in which case I should seriously be considering AVCs and buying extra years or whatever or am I gonna drop dead prior or just after retirement in which case the AVCs convert to more holidays now |

This would open up all sorts of issues.
You could be a daredevil and walk Niagara Falls on a tightrope. You could bet money playing Russian Roulette, all sorts of stuff. Run up lots of debt and cover it with a big life insurance policy. 
But then it may say you will die in agony 17 May 2014 and that is not funny.
