Thats great progress - don't worry about the weight gain, its just glycogen.

Just make sure you are getting your protein, eat at a deficit and lift. You'll do great things...sounds like thats exactly what you are doing though...

I love doing squats with the kettle weights.... Of course having a very fit young PT helps immensely

Well done on your achievement glitterkitten! Keep it up and you'll soon see the rewards!

I up my gym regime every week... And I can certainly see the benefits already

I am genuinely impressed I have seen so many say they are going to get fit and it rarely happens its not easy to be dedicated and stick to it so praise where praise is due.

I don't think you are ever too late I did the same 3 years back lost about 12 lbs and got regular exercise and haven't looked back I feel so much better for it. You go for it you will find you have far more energy and vitality.

Look for Palmers cocoa butter lotion for stretchmarks.

There is a theory that no matter what cream you use its the regular massaging in of such cream that helps the skin.

(insert 'cream' innuendo as required)

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

I was very worried about my skin when I started losing weight about 4 years ago now. I had masses of weight to lose.

Using a good body brush in the shower (and not too hot) with a wee amount of shower gel and fairly vigorously brushing the areas in question have been very fortunate to have very little lose skin now (lower tummy has a wee amount) but I have lost 17 stone!

I also use a cheap-ish moisturiser (nivea cream) and rub it on all over every other day, and its done wonders.

Keep up the good work
