No spoilers but if you are still watching it to see how it ends... You are going to be so disappointed
It's a train wreck of a last episode
So supplementary question time.... Have you ever been disappointed over how a TV show has ended? If so which
Which shows did it well? |

Several times, especially when series have been cancelled early on.
Dollhouse and Last Resort both had rushed endings because they had been cancelled. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
"So who's the mother???"
Lily met her on the train.
I have to see it through though.
For lots of things the end is an anticlimax. I have been thinking about this just today as I sit on a train. Journeys are about the doing, even if we don't enjoy it, but once achieved that is but a tiny moment.
I've enjoyed the How I Met Your Mother journey.

i tend not to stick with a series until the end, much to my own detriment lol.
i can never recall seeing a final episode of something and thinking 'wow, so thats where we have been going'
or even being disappointed.
ah well, maybe i have missed out.
that said, its very hard to follow series when they are shown 4 or 5 times a day, and the episodes are very rarely concurrent, |

I was disappointed with Stargate SG1.
I think they should have ended it after season 8, as I felt the last few episodes of the season tied up a lot of loose ends and brought them full circle, with the last episode going back to Ra and the exploring what would have happened if the stargate had never been discovered in the first place.
In terms of shows finishing well, do they ever truly finish? It just seems that after a while, they do a one off special, then another if it the first one was well received.
I guess Friends would be one that I think finished well, as it showed them all leaving Monica's apartment, which was the symbol of the series, and then continuing with their lives |
