Cats bring home prey for us because they think we're shit at hunting. They are following their natural instincts to share the booty with its dependants, and we hit them with a broom lol

Sooooooo very glad my cat is a wuss and wont go outside!!

I remember years ago tho a cat I had decided to fight with a seagull and won we only found out cos she was dragging it thru her cat flap.

Seagull on the outside of the door flapping its wings and cat in the inside seagulls head in her mouth growling at it.

She was none to pleased when I stood there near(ish) the door shouting "get it out" she was all proud cos she had caught it and decided she would rather get tins of salmon from the workies nearby rather than the food I normally fed her for a week or 2

My old mum used to buy pretty shiny collars with bells on them for her cats. She often complain that the cats would shake them off and lose them all the time and I've never told her to this day that I used to take them off them. A cat can't hunt with a fookin bell alerting it's prey all the time, can it.

Our cat used to go hunting for peoples Sunday roast they'd left on the kitchen worktop. Many a time she'd come running in on a Sunday afternoon with a leg of lamp or beef joint.

My cat would never survive out in the wild cos she wont eat anything unless its foil wrapped and says whiskas on the label Ohh and only drinks water if its running from the tap none of this put it in a bowl in the floor for her. My cold tap in the bathroom is constantly on a fast drip drives me round the bend but stupid can drink.

Im sure someone somewhere told stupid that she was a pedegree when in reality she came from a farm

Only had one so far from the older moggie. The new one is far too fat to catch anything. Thought it was a lazy male but alas its a lethargic female cat.

Bells on cats just make them better hunters! - they have to stalk very patiently indeed and thus get better at it!

My cat brought a live jackdaw in through the cat flap and then chased it around the living room - it knocked over an antique clock worth £500 and totally destroyed it! Feathers and shit all over the place!

"my cats will only drink out of the toilet oddly "

Mine likes to lie in the bath during the day and when someone is in the bath she likes to sit (all proud looking) on the toilet seat. Put bubbles in the bath and all hell breaks out as Sookie tries to eat them and attack them

I love baby bunnies, however, they are considered as pests if they live too close to pharma or food manufacturing facilities.

I love bunnies, too - knowing they can be a pest - but then again - men can be a pest at times, too and we still love them..

They are pests ask any farmer. Its an offense still if you do not keep the population down on your land.

They are always frozen [they are dead first!] to kill of any parasites.

Sometimes they eat them or dismember them. But they usually bring them back for their kittens.

They all do it, Kit brought me a mouse, shrew or vole every day we lived up the mountain, Hanz brought me a grey squirrel, a not-dead pigeon band crow in the same state - finding feathers for weeks, a mouse again not quite dead but I had to go out and when I got back it was a half-mouse. Years ago Minnie had a habit of dropping her catches into your wellies, so always shake them to this day! They're telling you they'll protect your nest, the home they love, just as when a dog barks cos he thinks it's being threatened! x
