Every time I go to make am online purchase with my visa card the bank declines it then send me messages on both my phones and a text to contact their fraud department. They seem to be doing it with every purchase I try and make

I have it every time I go abroad, even when Ive notified them, but not really had a problem at home. Only one time when I used the card in 4 different towns over the space of a couple of hours. |

"I have it every time I go abroad, even when Ive notified them, but not really had a problem at home. "never had any issues online ...could you possibly be getting a security question wrong ??" there is no security question just a basic purchase, it all goes through fine until I confirm purchase and then its declined and my phones all start ringing lol

I agree - part of me thinks its good that they pick things up so quickly, part of me worries a bit about just how much they know about you.... |

No I never get this at all maybe you need to speak to the bank. I know if you've had fraud issues in the past they might be extra vigilant but it's seems a tad excessive! |

I agree its a good thing if I was making an unusual purchase, spending high amounts of money or in a different place but this is none of them. They obviously don't want me to buy some new clothes

my back does it too, particularly for online payments of a certain type. it's probably because it's online and it may be in an area where there is a high incidence of fraud. mine used to get stopped every time i tried to top up my mobile online, because it's a high fraud area. |

Very odd - I have had fraud on my account and it was over the internet. Yet, I never have a problem with using my card online, or even abroad if I let them know I will be using it, when and where. |
