"That must a very nasty shock for you... Not nice witnessing Someone getting hurt, my daughter witnessed her friend having a bad riding accident yesterday whilst they were out hacking, where her horse bolted across a main road and threw her... Luckily there wasn't many cars about and it seems all she has is a broken leg, but it shook my daughter up and she was in tears all afternoon.
Hope your work mate makes a speedy recovery "

Crikey, hope he'll be ok. Go home for a lie down, you're in shock!! That's a horrible thing to happen. If I see blood, I act first then faint later Hope you'll feel ok soon. |

I was with my father about a month ago and he cut his thumb off just above the knuckle with a circular saw and again, no blood! Couldn't believe it!
I was also in worse condition than him. I'm not squeamish but it's different with someone you care about. I needed a bit if a sit down after that... |

I was gagging as I wrapped it in a bag and put it in some ice |

strange how we cope then it hits us later - flat mate years ago fell into a glass coffee table and it looked like something out of a horror movie - did all the necessary - got to hossie etc - then shook uncontrollably for ages after |

I hope your work mate is fine , and you of course. I used to be a train driver and had a suicide. Took his head clean off. It took a while but I don't think about it much anymore. |
