Maybe I'm missing something, but what's with the plethora of MD threads all over the forums?
Been chatting to a lady and she's had a number of PMs, mainly from guys, wishing her a happy Mother's Day. She has only one child, sadly, who can genuinely wish her a happy Mother's Day.
I know it's nice to be nice, but is this not all a bit OTT?
Answers on a postcard please! |

I find it odd that anyone except your children wish you a happy mother's day.
I have a foreign friend who wished me a Happy Valentines. I explained that it wasn't the done thing only to find that a LOT of people wish any person a Happy Valentines.... ?
Today he said to me.....Happy Mother's day. I said , Im not your mother!!! He said no but you are someone's mother.
It's all too odd ....... weird. |

especially if like me you don't have any children. Can be a bit insensitive. I don't mind so much but I know some women can be very touchy about the subject. |
