I was busy getting rid of the many mothers day threads that I think I got mixed up and went too far

I know there is a memorial one running but if anyone wants to start another one for that will be fine.

Off to London to meet crystal and some friends and their kids who are in London for the weekend off to the British Museum. And they are here for a birthday not mothers day!

Our lads 18th today so have combined it with the other event we are not to mention on this thread and having a big family get together and meal at a restaurant later, when that's done I shall be taking said 18 year old down the pub where I'll be buying him his first legal pint

I'm off out for lunch (related to the other 8 threads

) then need to do some gentle training to ease the ache in my legs from yesterday. Gorgeous day here on the coast too

Morning. I'm recovering from a girlie night out. Currently pinned down by a very comfortable cocker spaniel who doesn't understand I've got to get to Asders for shopping and...horror of horrors...it's time to put petrol in the car!!

Working out what time it is, coffee, lots of coffee and avoiding the mothers day threads. Nothing to celebrate about her!

Also feeling a little smug as my children don't need one particular day to tell me they love and appreciate me. We actively avoid commercialised days such as these.

The sun is out so I shall find a lovely route in the Leicestershire countryside to have a good long walk.
