The search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 has moved to a new part of the Indian Ocean due to a "credible lead", Australia says
In a few days time they will probably have another "credible lead" and have sat images of the plane sitting on some remote runway in northern Western Australia. |

"There's more to this story then we already know "
Can't blame the poor families for feeling lied to and this is a perfect example of how conspiracies start. |

So a specialist compny is searching again for this plane and fee payable only if they find it. I hope they do so the mystery can be solved and the families get closure.
But my question is with all the satellites in the world that are accurate down to 3 feet (and the rest!), haven’t they thought of using one rather than planes to fly over or ships? Am I missing something? |

15,000 feet of seawater (that's ~ 3 miles) is rather impenetrable to satellites. That's the maximum depth of the surveyed areas to date.
The Titanic bottomed out at 12,500 feet.
USS Seawolf (SSN-21) an attack submarine officially tests out at 1,600 feet. |

Why did they send planes out, surely they can’t either? |
