A computer stole my night

I have a MacBook to play with. (It's luffly Totally different to a PC, but luffly).

I'm a technophile and somewhat more computer literate than the average aardvark but I have limited experience of Macs, (and almost none at all in the last 18 years!).

It was 9pm when I picked it up and started playing with it. I just noticed the time. I knew it was getting late but...

I can lose hours to computer stuff and playing with new gadgets. I can also lose hours to a good book and to various craft type things.

What can you lose hours to? (Sleeping doesn't count. I can lose days to that. Ditto shagging )

Even when I worked full-time I used to do this frequently. In fact it was worse then because I worked in IT and constantly had new toys, gadgets and skills to play with and research.

I've been known to go three days without sleep until I eventually crash out from exhaustion.

My brain has a faulty off switch.

Can easily get lost in time in forums... And gadgety toys.. And making gadgety toys... And then crafty projects with gadgety toys... Hmmm seems toys are my downfall!

Enjoy your Mac VV

I seem to loose a lot of time to knitting, making cards, reading. When I make cards I make for specific days all birthdays, anniversary etc. When I make them for December I can loose a week.

When my mam was alive I told her about a book I had just read it was about 500 pages it had taken me a week to read which was quick for me. Lent it to my mam. She read the whole book in 9 hours. She was a real bookworm. So when ever I see that book make me smile.
