No, that's normal. Annoying but normal. This is my body misbehaving although along similar lines.
I'm losing weight. Stored fat contains hormones which are released as the fat breaks down. The additional hormones can cause issues.
The worst bit is it will be ongoing for at least a few weeks and possibly the duration of the weight loss. |

I'm too stubborn to quit so I'll get it regardless of how long it takes.
Ultimately I plan to use it for making jewellery rather than blankets. |
