I hate zoos I get that from my mum who would never take us to a zoo nor let us go on school trips....she hated the thought of animals being kept in cages...
What was the reason they killed the cubs? |

They are all ornaments,Your typical modern zoo isnt there for the good of the planet or species they are there to make a profit, Close breeding which can result in Disfigured animals are unprofitable..simples |

So send them to another zoo where they can be bred with different lines.
Another zoo had offered to take the giraffe.
Zoos should be about the care and conservation of animals. They should only be euthanised if they are ill and have no quality of life. |

No one would take the cubs, they tried to rehome them. |

"Should be bloody shot themselves. Why can't they close it down?
"
Where would all their animals go if they did that? I'm not saying what they do is right, not at all but if they just shut the zoo down more animals would be needlessly killed.
Population control should start at the point of breeding, not killing healthy animals to make way for new animals. Also more reintroduction to the wild should be happening, after all that is the point of most breeding programmes isn't it? |
