Where the chuff is Thornton Cleveleys and how come (according to POF) 6 million single women live there? And Barnoldswick? Does it exist? Cos there's about 3 million there! |

Barnoldswick? About 15 miles south of Settle where you'll find Ye Olde Naked Man, a favourite stopping place before taking a blast up towards the Ribblehead viaduct before heading over to Hawes for another stop. |

I have a friend from Barnoldswick but I can't believe there are 3 million women there. That's more women than there are in Scotland and only a couple of million off the number in London.
Where did you get the numbers.

The numbers were just to demonstrate that Thornton and barnoldswick seem to have an over abundance of single women. Try clicking the 'meet me' button and you'll see what I mean! I wonder if pof is making stuff up! |

Don't know much about Barnoldswick but it probably correct about the high number of singles in Thornton Cleveleys.
Problem is they are all widows and widowers in their 70's & 80's.

Don't know much about Barnoldswick but it probably correct about the high number of singles in Thornton Cleveleys.

hard to believe when the entire population of london is 8.174 million and Birmingham only has 1.07 million so I'd say someone got the decimal point in the wrong place lol |
