So there are currently 17,100 users online and I would guess not even 1% using the forum .
This is pretty much always the case and I wondered why this might be ?
Any thoughts ? |

Because they come online to look for and arrange sex only instead of fannying around in the forums
Lots of people I know aren't aware there are forums,the ones that do don't like them and wouldn't post on them for lots of reasons  |

Some will just use the site to find meets.
Some will be busy knocking one out in the cam rooms.
Some will be looking for their boss/next door neighbours/friend down the pubs profile because they're nosy.
Some stumble across the forums, enjoy the banter and wisdom of their fellow forumites and choose to continue using them regularly.
Some simply seek advice and will lurk rather than post.
Would an increase of the 1% benefit the forum community? Or simply increase the rants and moans, the 'why can't I get any meets/why do rude people not reply' or 'kiss/fuck/pass/bury under the patio' style threads?
An increase in use might not always be a good thing!

I only use the forums.
I might pop into a cam room looking to see if a girl has returned as she has left the site about 4 times.
I cant remember the last time I messaged a girl with the intent of a meet.
I dont think I have browsed this year with the intention of meeting. |

There is a often a lot of negativity towards new people using the forums so it discourages many form doing so.  |

My first ever post was regarding profile advice, I didnt get shot down like many do now. Thats a good point you make. That may be someones first impression of the forums. |

You just got to grit your teeth and get through it,the forum vultures will always be ready to swoop in on certain subjects. |

Sometimes that's because they don't seem to know how to use the search function. I agree that some people can be mean to first time posters though, but those people tend to be mean to everyone. |

Fairly new to the forums myself this past month, I dont post much but I read quite a few threads.
I find some quite funny and entertaining, some hostile posts in mob mentality towards new people asking for advice on profiles etc and there are the silly threads that I dont even bother opening any more... the kiss miss fuck part 1,00,000 type threads which just get lost after first 5 posts and no one knows whos kissing missing and fucking who.
but overall the forums are quite good, shame more people dont check them out... ive had my eyes ooened to a few things thats for sure  |

Lots of lurkers that read and never post on the forums, I think the stat was less than 1% Of site users post in the forum,
They can be very addictive and consequently time consuming as with the site in general its a fluid environment of people joining and leaving if the lurkers reading want to join in post away I found them welcoming insightful knowledgable inspiring most of all though I find them hilarious
Maybe the other people are too busy laughing to post,, |
