Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
I'm watching My Spiral Into Debt Hell on 5+1 (don't judge me) and one of the guys on it ran up £100,000 debt on an online gambling website. And guess what was advertised during the break?
Oh Channel 5, don't ever change. |

"Thankfully I have never been a gambler of any sort.
Me neither, although I have had a brush with debt. Not as bad as these guys. I actually feel sorry for them. "
It is such a powerful addiction. |

I know people who have destroyed their lives and their family's lives through gambling addiction. The worst thing is how quickly it can happen with online gambling. |

Nope that's C5 but in their defense they have to sensationalise to get _iewers and need _iewers to watch adds which pay for survival. On the flip side gambling is a huge problem and drawing attention to huge losses cannot be a bad thing can it? |

"Gambling ruins lives.
It does and not just the gamblers.
true of many addictions and obsessions "
I would say it has the potential to be true for all addictions and obsessions. Alcohol and gambling are the only ones I have direct experience of with close family members and are part of the reason I value truth so highly. |
